With battles taking longer, I say that when you invade, you take one city at a time.

Yes, have "objectives" for large scale campiagns, since each turn is probably a month.

the rule that was a big contraversy in the last wargame should be ammended some how.

That may be fixed, especially navy ship wise because the ships, like in real life will probably take several turns to build, since in reality some ships took years.
