i was wondering what yall listen to when you get sad - or if not sad then songs that are slow and generally give off depressing vibes -

i would have to say that ben harper is one that i've always listened to - "walk away" "forever" "another lonely day" - red house painters - nick drake has always been one of my very favorites but i love acoustic guitars so go figure :0)

plus if you don't think you can relate -one of yalls (from what i'm reading) favorite hard rock bands linkin park has a slow/sad song - my december -

just wondering :0)

Phil Collins- Another Day in Paradise
The Kelly Family- I Can't Help My Self
John Lennon - Imagine

Sad songs, slow songs are espcially related with love feelings for someone... at least in my case. Everytime i hear them i remember of that person...

lol np.

the first time i heard the song, i was at my friends house, and they were listening to it. one said that it was about abortion, and the other thought it was about having cancer or something. they are going out, and they like started fighting about it! it was so funny! (from my point of view) but the guy eventually admitted the possibility that it was about abortion. haha good times
abortion!- -cancer! -stupid couples!

If you've ever watched the Deer Hunter, you will know that running through at various intervals is a song called Cavatina. It's sad because this film is sad, emotional 'n' stuff and when you hear it it makes you remember all the bad bits.

That's all my deep and meaningful stuff for todayayay!
