An admin should be bascically a moderator of the entire board, they should manage mods, users, forum technical problems, recuritment, mergers, financial tasks and if nessecary, step in to do a mod's job
-------------------- Decima MAS \ When ancient Rome was near defeat, the invincible Tenth Legion was raised: they beat the barbarians on the battlefield and Rome gained peace with honour again. When the traitor, on September the eighth, left the fatherland in infamy, the Tenth Flotilla was raised from the sea and it brought weapons at the cry for honour!
Oh our Tenth Flotilla, you that mocked England, you victorious on Alexandria, Malta, Souda and Gibraltar, you already victorious upon the sea, now even on the dry land you will win!
To you Italian ships, stolen from us not in battle but by treason, and to you, our prisoners and dead brothers, we swear: we swear that we'll came back, let this be God's and the Flag's will. We swear that we'll fight until we obtain an honourable peace!

and I would like to add on to it..not only are they quote: An admin should be bascically a moderator of the entire board, they should manage mods, users, forum technical problems, recuritment, mergers, financial tasks and if nessecary, step in to do a mod's job
but they are active. No I am not talking super spammer, but at least posts here and there, in many forums, the all around person who doesn't limit themselves to a forum, like a mod might. They are also unbiased, being able to make decisions based upon the evidence, and justice, not personal emotions. They should also be strong. You don't want admins who just give in at whatever people say. The admin does what is right, what is just. This means they are more of a "global" thinker. They look at the whole picture.

i agree with everything said here..the admin should try to increase the overall quality of the forums..and post in as many forums as he can to try and keep them alive and active ..he should be netrual the things so as not to take one side or another..and should be easy to get along with and stuff of that nature i guess
