Topic: A Vague idea on who should be admin

right i think as ice put it there should be 4-5 admins....more or less depednding on how many decent candidates there is.
Right now i think:
2-d should be an admin * Been here for ages
* posts well/visits a lot
* done a lot of commendable work
(set up moderators elections, made a lot of progress in arranging a chat -did more than me)
Gbotto or Pdykstra (any one)
* Both been here since day one
* Horizon wouldnt be here without them
* Responds well to instructions
* Teachable (i hope) One Aokpro member * Aokpro can decide who it should be
Any other admins
* Need to visit often
* need to be posting often
* need to be popular -or well connected to other admins and or members
* Be able to work in a team, wont cause arguements
* Use his/her powers activly/effectivly
* Active recruitment -quite important

I agree with what u have put, but i also think Redeemer is a great asset, he is always on line, and as far as ive seen he is fair...and is always looking out for ppl, like when jtb used his other (unknown) name and changed his status 2 a admin, redeemer changed the control panel (or something like that) so no body could delete the forum..incase it was a imposter..and by that is a valuable member and im sure he helps u out behind the scenes !! !! i put 2 u ..2 think about re-instating Redeemer as a admin ! !! i dont think changing the admins every few months would be a good idea...cause the admins are the "ruling" factors persay of the forums..and if they are always changing..it makes it look like the forums are fickle and cant get one set of "rulers" and what not

AND would you like to give an examplle of a recent topic were an argument as devolped between me and konan because i dont think such a situtation has ever occured in the recent months.

This must be the example that you are looking for Red as far as recent is concerned.
Leave the whole field wide open and not bring it down to "between him and him". Everyone should get a 'kick at the cat' not just the peeps who have been here since the beginning or brought in members with matching names. It is hard to remove admins once they have had a taste of the power. It is ez to promote but not as ez to demote so care must be taken to select wisely (and hopefully) for the longterm. If you want to base past performance on a selection that would be good but also consider admins. who threaten to leave when things do not go their own way. Extortion should not be a basis for appointment!

There is a lot of what i could say, but in order to avoid an ‘unnecessary argument I remain silent (I regret u not being able to do the same) and I reject the idea that I’m using extortion but asking for what I deserve.

I also visit this forum more than any other member and make a contribution. As im one of the most experienced i'm the most likely use my power effectively.

Yes, you are a very old member here. You do not, however, visit as much as me. My page views are way above yours, my post count has jumped ahead of yours. So don't tell me you're the most active person around here. Dejango, mason, and Waldo are now more active than you in my opinion, and now prb more active than me. And as for the fact of you not getting in arguments. You get online and post like some of us and lets see how well you avoid arguments. I'd rather see an admin that posts every now and then and gets into small arguments, than one that hardly ever posts to avoid fights. I wouldn't have a problem if you were made an admin again, but before you start listing some qualities saying you're the best at, you got to give some actual qualties of what you are the best at.

well yes i have been posting much more after an inactive period due to final exams but now i have starting posting much more and still remain inside the top 5 posters. And obviously an argument will develop soon as part of human nature.
