Yes and no. From a moral point of view I do not, from a scruple-less western dominance point of view yes ... The only thing that is dubious to me is the motives of the actions ... they can not say it is about oil, which must have something to do with it. But Saddam is a very, very dangerous person as history has shown, he is very interested in weapons of mass destruction and funds all sorts of terrorism. His old WOMD program used to be in the billions, where his funding for his people was in the hundreds of millions. This guy believes architecture is more important than his people. He also despises Israel, and once planned to sail a ship with a nuke on it into an Israeli harbour … at the end of the day this guy needs to be taken out, and the woolly jumper wearing liberal hippies who are to used to western freedoms can not see this. Think of North Korea now, how they can almost hold the US to ransom, imagine that power in the hands of Saddam … Peace through superior fire power …

I agree with Junglist, like it or not, Saddam is a nut who can not be in power.
I think we should also explore new fuel types, i know that sounds like a hippy idea but we need to work to get off from fossil fuels, then we can say to the middle east and the Saddam's of the world: "Fuck off, we no longer need you"
Hydrogen seems logical
I just hope they can convert our normal cars to it! I dont wanna give up my car if they get rid of petrol! lol [ January 09, 2003, 20:12: Message edited by: -gbotto600- ]
-------------------- Decima MAS \ When ancient Rome was near defeat, the invincible Tenth Legion was raised: they beat the barbarians on the battlefield and Rome gained peace with honour again. When the traitor, on September the eighth, left the fatherland in infamy, the Tenth Flotilla was raised from the sea and it brought weapons at the cry for honour!
Oh our Tenth Flotilla, you that mocked England, you victorious on Alexandria, Malta, Souda and Gibraltar, you already victorious upon the sea, now even on the dry land you will win!
To you Italian ships, stolen from us not in battle but by treason, and to you, our prisoners and dead brothers, we swear: we swear that we'll came back, let this be God's and the Flag's will. We swear that we'll fight until we obtain an honourable peace!

I completely agree ... keep conventional fossil fuels for aircraft, untill similar power delivering alternatives can be developed, and same for some military, tanks etc.

I'm not just worried over Iraq, and yes i think we should war with them...i'm worried over Nk stepping in from the sidelines and start sassing now...
Jan. 10 — North Korea withdrew from a global treaty that bars it from making nuclear weapons Friday, but said it was willing to talk to Washington to end an escalating dispute over its nuclear ambitions. It also warned the United States not to take military action against it, saying a “new Korean War will finally lead to the Third World War” and the North could hold its own in a “fire-to-fire standoff.”
this makes me think, what on earth do they have up there sleeves...I really think that they want a war to happen vs them...
what do you think?
