Ok, folks the game is on! Its 1935 and the world is quite a diffrent place! New nations have emerged and others are trying to emerge. To make this a totally fair game we will start with no alliances or wars at the start. Each day (forum day!) you get 3 'credits' these credits are used to produce things (military units, planes or ships), increase your industry, conduct research, use to pay other nations (as parts of deals or aide or whatever) or to use to black mail other nations!  United States of America - Dejango (!)
Great Britian - 2d
Soviet Union - kenny (!)
Canada - Shagi_Fighter (!)
Nationalist China - daveacious (!)
Communist China - The_Fallen_Lord (!)
France - ReDeeMer (!)
Germany - CloyneBlade (!)
Japan - rpaz (!)
Italy - HoDDa_Da_TeAPoT (!)
Hungary - WaLdO (!) = This player has seen this topic and made their first turn, don't worry about this mark, its just for me to see who is acutally playing
Here are the prices:
1 Tank Unit = 2 credits
1 Infantry Unit = 1 credit
1 Paratrooper Unit = 2 credits
1 Marine Unit = 2 credits
1 Artillery Unit = 1 credit 1 Battleship = 6 credits
1 Full size Aircraft Carrier (can carry two plane squadrons) = 9 credits
1 Small Carrier (carrys 1 squadron) = 5 credits
1 Cruiser = 4 credits
1 Destroyer = 3 credits
1 Frigate = 2 credits
1 Patrol Boat = 1 credit
1 Transport ship = 3 credits
1 Submarine = 3 credits 1 Fighter Squadron (can be based on a carrier) = 1 credits
1 Attack plane Squadron (can be based on a carrier) = 2 credits
1 Bomber Squadron = 3 credits
1 Transport plane Squadron = 2 credits
1 Heavy Bomber Squadron = 5 credits 1 New Factory = 6 credits (once this factory is built, you may get 1 more credit each turn, you can build as many factories as you want, but make sure to take note that you get 1 extra credit with each factory you build)
1 New Research Facility = 7 credits (once this facility is done, you may research topics!, you can build as many as you wish, each extra one lets you research another topic) Research Topics: (Each cost 5 credits and require 3 turns of 'research' before you make an advancement) Ground Weapons Research (tanks, small-arms, artillery)
Aircraft Research (jet engines, bombs, new plane designs, RADAR)
Ship Research (SONAR, new ship designs, missles)
Chemical Research (posion gas, new explosives)

@davecious:you make a topic called "what ever ur nation is called) and u list ur purchases and current units and alliances, research, etc.. as for battles, i simplifed the units and i will 'mod' them best i can, taking into account military units involved, location of conflict, past victories and defeats etc... i promise to make as fair a ruling as i can and if some1 wants to 'appeal' a ruling and can provide more than enough evidence to turn back my descion i will glady to do it

here is a run-down of the ships and their jobs:Battleship = The Big boy of the fleet, carries big guns used to bombard coasts or duke it out with other big ships. Full size Aircraft Carrier (can carry two plane squadrons) = carries planes
Small Carrier (carrys 1 squadron) = carries planes Cruiser = Like a battleship but smaller and faster and cheaper Destroyer = Like a crusier but smaller and faster and the Destroyer has better AA (anti-aircraft) weapons Frigate = A warship that is designed to hunt down enemy submarines but it still carries weapons to attack enemy ships Patrol Boat = A small but fast ship designed to make fast raids, it has small guns or torpedos Transport ship = Carries 1 ground unit for landings or just to take them across an ocean Submarine = Attacks enemy ships with torpedos

When you start you have the goverment that your nation had in real life, you may change it, but i recommend you keep it the same (it doesn't really effect the game)

the goverment doesn't really have an effect on it, it was the only remeant of the game being in 1935 (other than some nations IE: seperated china's being in it) it really doesn't matter on the game unless you are planning some sort of political upheval etc..
you can make it whatever u want it to be

Guys, sorry i forget about this, but Cloyne Blade brought me up on it, here are the ranges for each type of plane:Fighter Squadron (can be based on a carrier) = Fighters can attack your neighoring country or if they are on a carrier they can attack any nation with a shoreline that you can reach
Attack plane Squadron (can be based on a carrier) = Same as fighters
Bomber Squadron = Bombers can reach any nation within 2 nations to you (they can cross over countries to hit another nation)
Transport plane Squadron = Same as bombers
Heavy Bomber Squadron = Heavy Bombers can hit countries 3 nations away (you can cross 2 nations to hit another) And another thing that needs to be adressed is if you are invading another nation, make sure you have the required ships to reach it (1 transport ship will carry 1 ground unit) or you need to have a land border with that nation or permission to enter another nation to attack a nation or transport planes (each transport squadron can carry 1 airborne unit) If you need any clairifcation on rules or anything, contact me on AOL, my SN is: BersaglieriBotto

i dunno about soroka, he really isn't into this kinda stuff as for missed days, you can keep track of your credits for later use and if you are attacked i won't 'resolve' the attack until the player has returned, thats the way we did it in the other games and it works out pretty good
