ahh, what ever happened to the old guard?
seaman - man city now
adams - retired
dixon - retired
winterburn - west ham
bould - long retired
keown - still active, for the mo, even though only younger than bould
kewell also most likely going to Arsenal with the possibility of Parlour to Leeds in a trade. parlour's a great player

on a serious note; seamen is only going because they promised him a coaching job after his 1 year contract is up. im surprised arsenal didn't do the same.

seaman did get offered the coaching job because Bob Wilson is retiring at the end of the upcoming season and then Seaman was going to fill in, I know stuff like this because i know the groundskeeper and i go to the training pitches and speak occasionally with Bob Wilson.

sven says that seaman still can get back in the England squad, and with guys like James and Walker as competition it ain't going to be hard. He's still the best goalie in the country
