the first turn is basically a huge land grab, natives are weak right now and are easily taken over, each new colony (territory) equals 10 credits added to your income it is possible to take 4-5 provinces with the first buys plus the current armies you already possess, if you miss the first few turns you may not recover....so gbotto, Jason, Mason, Teapot everyone done forget to drop by....
