Japanese Units:

Ground Units:

Type 90 Tank Unit: The Type 90 is Japan’s best tank. (Cost: 15)

M60A3 Patton Tank Unit: The M60A3 is slower and less armored than the M1A1 and M1A2 but it costs less. (Cost: 10)

Type 74 Tank Unit: The Type 74 is an older tank, but its still good. (Cost: 8)

Type 89 Mechanized Infantry Unit: This is a infantry unit that rides and fights in the Type 89 Infantry Combat vehicle. Mechanized Infantry is good against all units. (Cost: 12)

Type 96 Mechanized Infantry Unit: This unit is like the unit above but these troops ride in the wheeled Type 96 Infantry Vehicle. (Cost: 8)

Armed Recon Unit: This unit uses 4x4 and Type 96 recon vehicles. Having recon units in your attack will increase your chances of victory. (Cost: 10, is a recon unit)

Type 96 Anti-Tank Unit: This unit uses modified Type 96 Infantry Carries that carry anti-tank missiles on their roof. It is good against tanks. (Cost: 8)

Infantry Unit: This is the basic combat soldier unit of the army. This unit has no vehicles to use in combat, only trucks to bring them to and from battlefields, during a battle they fight on foot. They are armed with assault rifles, grenades and light-machineguns. Foot infantry are good against anything but tanks and mechanized infantry. Infantry are very good at defending. (Cost: 4)

Para Infantry Unit: Paratroopers are infantry who can jump from K-1 Air Transport Units. Paratroopers are slightly better than normal infantry. Paras are good against enemy ground units. (Cost: 10, may be carried in the UH-1J Helicopter Transport Unit)

Commando Unit: Commandos may perform any of the commando operations listed under the ‘Special Forces Rules’ section of the INFO topic. (Cost: 14)

Marine Infantry Unit: Marines are infantry soldiers who excel in landing on enemy beaches. (Cost: 8)

Type 75 Self-Propelled Artillery Unit: The Type 75 is a artillery gun mounted in a armored vehicle. (Cost: 10)

M270 MLRS Rocket Artillery Unit: This unit is basically the same idea as the Type 75 but it uses rockets instead of artillery shells. The rocket launcher is mounted on a tracked unit and it is somewhat stronger than a towed-artillery unit, but is still weak against any attacking force. Rockets are good against tanks and infantry. (Cost: 9)

Towed Artillery Unit: Towed artillery are the standard truck-towed howitzers that many of you are common with. They are good against any ground unit at long range but they defeintly need to be protected as they are weak against any unit attacking them. (Cost: 5)

Type 87 Anti-Aircraft Unit: The Type 87 has twin 30mm anti-aircraft guns. (Cost: 6)

Type 93 Anti-Aircraft Missile Unit: The Type 93 is a 4x4 truck with a anti-aircraft missile launcher on its roof. (Cost: 8)

Engineer Unit: Engineer units can greatly help offensive and defensive operations, a player should have engineer units with all of their major operations. Engineer units include trucks, bull-dozers, engineer-tanks and other specialized engineering vehicles. They can help build defenses and help clear enemy defenses. (Cost: 10)

Air Units:

F-15J Attack/Fighter Unit: The F-15J is a licensed built version of the American F-15. It carries anti-aircraft and anti-ground weapons. (Cost: 12, can carry 1 ‘plane dropped nuclear weapon load’)

F-2 Fighter Unit: The F-2 is Japan’s leader fighter. (Cost: 14)

F-1 Attack/Fighter Unit: The F-1 carries both anti-aircraft and anti-ground weapons. (Cost: 10)

E-2C ‘Hawkeye’ Early Warning Unit: The E-2 is a plane that carries a very powerful RADAR system on it. It helps friendly planes locate enemy planes. Having a Early Warning Unit in your battles can help your planes. (Cost: 12, helps friendly planes)

P-3J Anti-Submarine/Anti-Ship Patrol Unit: The P-3J carries torpedoes and depth charges to hunt enemy naval units. (Cost: 14)

AH-1J Attack Helicopter Unit: The AH-1J carries anti-tank missiles and rocket pods. (Cost: 8)

UH-1J Assault Transport Helicopter Unit: The UH-1J can transport 1 Paratrooper Infantry Unit. (Cost: 8, can carry 1 Paratrooper Infantry Unit)

CH-47J Helicopter Transport Unit: The CH-47 can transport 1 infantry unit of any type. (Cost: 10, can carry 1 infantry unit)

K-1 Air Transport Unit: The K-1 is a heavy transport plane. Each unit can carry 1 ground unit. (Cost: 12, can carry 1 ground unit)

CH-46J Naval Helicopter Transport Unit: The CH-46J can operate off of carriers and assault landing ships. (Cost: 12, each unit can carry 1 infantry unit of any type)

Aerial Recon Unit: This unit has special Unmanned Aerial Vehicle scout planes and recon versions of the F-1 to greatly assist battlefield intelligence. The UAV is a small remote-controlled plane that can scout ahead into enemy lines. Having an aerial recon unit in your operations greatly increases your chance for success. (Cost: 10)

Naval Units:

’Kongo’ Class Missile Destroyers: The Kongo class has good anti-ship and anti-aircraft missile launchers. (Cost: 35)

’Shirane’ Class Destroyer: The Shirane carries good anti-submarine weapons. (Cost: 26)

’Haruna’ Class Destroyer: The Haruna is a good multipurpose ship. (Cost: 32)

’Hatakaze’ Class Destroyer: This ship carries good anti-aircraft weapons. (Cost: 26)

’Murasame’ Class Frigate: This ship is the best Japanese Frigate. It carries good weapons of all types. (Cost: 28)

’Hatsuyuki’ Class Frigate: This ship is a good escort ship and carries good anti-ship weapons. (Cost: 22)

’Abukuma’ Class Destroyer: The Shirane carries good anti-submarine weapons. (Cost: 16)

’Osumi’ Class Assault Landing Ship: The Osumi can carry 1 ground unit and 1 Naval Transport Helicopter Unit. (Cost: 26, can carry 1 ground unit and 1 Naval Transport Helicopter Unit)

’Hayabusa’ Class Patrol Boat: This boat carries light anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles. (Cost: 10)

Transport Ship: The Transport Ship carries no weapons; it only carries 2 ground units. It can carry 2 ground units but only from one friendly harbor to another or to a beachhead that has been secured. (Cost: 14, carries 2 ground units)

Submarines:

’Harushio’ Class Diesel Attack Submarine: This submarine uses diesel engines for power. It carries anti-ship and anti-submarine torpedoes. (Cost: 16)

’Yushio’ Class Diesel Attack Submarine: This submarine uses diesel engines for power. It carries anti-ship and anti-submarine torpedoes. (Cost: 12)

I have edited your topic, because you didnt do it yourself.

What I have done:

1. made it esier to understand, so you do not get accused of cheating on units later.

2. Took your Infantry Units to 2 from 5 to take away the +12 credits from your original post.

3. Added your commando unit which you forgot to put in.

4. You posted the F2 jets as Fighter units, yet you posted them as attack units. If you wanted ground attack planes you can have +4 credits on your post, which means another infantry unit.

Please post where your Units are based by turn 2 or I will put them in your capitol.

um... no junglist, i got rid of that commando unit to fix that 112 credit deal. but thank you for rearranging my topic, i was always bad at that. i have added the 3 extra infantry and got rid of my commando unit.

’Yukan’ Class Landing Ship: This is a normal assault landing ship. It has only light anti-aircraft weapons and can carry 1 ground unit. (Cost: 12, can carry 1 ground unit)

Merkava Mk4 Tank Unit: The Merkava Mk4 is one of the world’s best tanks. It has extremely heavy armor and a powerful gun. It is an ideal defensive tank. (Cost: 18)
