Unit Size Chart:
Some people may wonder “How many soldiers are in each infantry unit?” or “How many jets are in this Fighter Unit?”
So here is a handy chart for reference:
Infantry Units (Normal, Airborne/Para/Paratrooper, Marine and Mechanized): 450-500 Soldiers (If the unit is mechanized then also 45-50 infantry vehicles, normal 'Infantry Units' also have 30-40 trucks for the troops to ride in)
Tank, Recon, Anti-Tank and other Armored Units: 50-60 vehicles
Artillery Units (Towed, Self-Propelled and Rocket): 30-40 artillery guns/artillery vehicles/rocket vehicles. Plus the crews needed for each weapon system. (Towed Artillery Units also have 30-40 trucks/prime-movers to pull the guns to and from firing positions)
Commando Units: 100-150 Commando soldiers (although usually 10 man teams are used for special operations)
Fighter/Attack/Strike Bomber Aircraft Units: 30-40 Planes
Tactical Bomber/Strategic Bomber/Anti-Ship/Anti-Sub/AWACS and Transport Aircraft Units: 20-30 Planes
Helicopter Units: 30-40 Helicopters
Ships/Submarines: Each ship or sub ‘unit’ is equal to 1 ship or sub, these are the only units you buy separately, you buy each ship and sub.
Note: Every unit also has several support vehicles, fuel, ammo etc.. these are considered organic to the unit and you need not worry about them

man, a 50-tank strong unit is 1/4 division....so in the last wargame I had....lemme think...more than 5000 tanks...not that bad ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

i doubt you will but if you need help with units i can give you a hand, i bought a book today and its got all the details about a lot of tanks and combat vehicles etc...
theres a good couple of hundred at least and includes 4x4's 6x6's 8x8's acp's weapons carriers light and main battle tanks, self propelled guns...

yeah i was thinking what to do about brazil, if you can post a list of all their stuff that would help greatly, i dont know if we'll need it this game but it would be good for any future ones

the Brazilians dont seem to build any tanks in thier own right just use tanks from other nations...
if you want just names of the tanks i'll do that not if you can specifics on them i can do it no problem..
