the new outcome system for land will allow new units:
- engineer units
- UAV recon (unmanned aerial vehicles)
- recon/scout helicopters and aircraft (manned ones)
---
when the nations are handed out and the unit lists are posted, you will have to check in in this thread to get your new units, if not you wont get em and that would suck for ya'

Excellent ... I love the engineers idea, and the idea for drones will be a great help.
Can we also look into researching modifying existing units for different roles. Like with the British Lynx helicopter, having infantry being carried in the standard Lynx with rocket pods, supported by the attack lynx with hellfires?

I think the British unit list does have two Lynx variants (assault transport and attack) ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

but yes you can do research to modify current units if you wish (upgrading it or something along those lines)

should take into consideration that modifying a unit to slightly different role should take much less than researching a completely new one. For example in the last game I wanted to get a naval eurofighter, which is not too bit deal given that I had a normal eurofighter, but still I had to research it as a new fighter...
then, not forget the proposition of limiting research. I.e. further research should be more expensive with each following step.

i know lets put a currency thing into it too with all the normal exchange rates!then be able to change the strength of the currency making buying from other players cheaper for us, and if you fuck the economy up your own troops turn against you in a coup de'etat all these new ideas wont needlessly complicate things at all!

Doh ... I was Britain the last wargame, but I have deleted all the old stuff. Cool ... they would suit me ... if ... I was Briotain again.
