PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF GREAT BRITAIN
Leader: Premiere Michael Brookes
Info: Great Britain, the dominant industrial and maritime power of the 19th century, played a leading role in developing parliamentary democracy and in advancing literature and science. At its zenith, the British Empire stretched over one-fourth of the earth's surface. The first half of the 20th century saw the UK's strength seriously depleted in two World Wars. The second half witnessed the dismantling of the Empire and the UK rebuilding itself into a modern and prosperous European nation.

Towed Artillery Unit: Towed artillery are the standard truck-towed howitzers that many of you are common with. They are good against any ground unit at long range but they defeintly need to be protected as they are weak against any unit attacking them. (Cost: 6)
M270 MLRS Rocket Artillery Unit: This unit is basically the same idea as the AS-90 but it uses rockets instead of artillery shells. The rocket launcher is mounted on a tracked unit and it is somewhat stronger than a towed-artillery unit, but is still weak against any attacking force. Rockets are good against tanks and infantry. (Cost: 9)
Rapier SAM Anti-Aircraft Missile Unit: The Rapier is a special anti-aircraft missile vehicle, it is only good against enemy aircraft and helicopters. Rapier is a advanced system that has a RADAR vehicle, supporting vehicles and the Rapier Anti-Aircraft missile vehicle. (Cost: 10)

SAS Commandos: The SAS are some of the best special forces troops in the world. SAS Commandos may perform any of the commando operations listed under the ‘Special Forces Rules’ section of the INFO topic. (Cost: 16)
Engineer Unit: Engineer units can greatly help offensive and defensive operations, a player should have engineer units with all of their major operations. Engineer units include trucks, bull-dozers, engineer-tanks and other specialized engineering vehicles. They can help build defenses and help clear enemy defenses. (Cost: 10)
Air Units:
Harrier GR7 Fighter Unit: The Harrier GR7 is an updated version of the famous ‘Harrier Jump Jet’. It is good against all units. (Cost: 12)
Sea Harrier FA2 Naval VTOL Fighter/Attack Unit: The Sea Harrier FA2 is an advanced version of the Sea Harrier. It can carry anti-ground, anti-aircraft and anti-ship weapons. (Cost: 10, can be based on carriers and helicopter carriers)

Westland Sea King Naval Helicopter Transport Unit: The Westland Sea King is a transport chopper than can operate off of carriers and landing ships. Each Sea King Naval Chopper unit can carry 1 ground unit. (Cost: 8, can carry 1 Infantry unit)
Cougar Mk1 Heavy Helicopter Transport Unit: The Cougar can carry 1 Infantry Unit. Its only weapon is a door mounted gun. (Cost: 10, can carry 1 Infantry Unit)
Navy Lynx Anti-Ship/Submarine Naval Helicopter Unit: The Navy Lynx only carries anti-ship and anti-submarine weapons. It is bad against enemy air units. It can operate off of any carrier or helicopter carrier. (Cost: 7, can be based on carriers and helicopter carriers)
AH-64D ‘Apache’ Attack Helicopter Unit: The Apache is a attack helicopter. It is good against ground units but bad against naval or air units. It has advanced RADAR and missiles. (Cost: 14)
Merlin HM Anti-Ship/Submarine Naval Helicopter Unit: The Merlin HM is the Royal Navy’s newest ASW chopper. It has no anti-aircraft weapons but it is very good at finding enemy submarines and ships. (Cost: 10, can be based on carriers and helicopter carriers)

A310 AEW AWACS Early Warning Aircraft Unit: The A310 AEW has a very powerful RADAR mounted on it. It can detect enemy aircraft from very far away. The A310 AEW has no weapons so it should probably be escorted by fighters. When a player has a Early Warning Aircraft Unit in a battle he gives his aircraft all a better chance of winning. (Cost: 18, can help friendly aircraft in a battle)
Aerial Recon Unit: This unit has special Phoenix Unmanned Aerial Vehicle scout planes and recon versions of the Jaguar to greatly assist battlefield intelligence. The Phoenix is a small remote-controlled plane that can scout ahead into enemy lines. Having an aerial recon unit in your operations greatly increases your chance for success. (Cost: 12)
A400M Air-Refueling Unit: This unit is a special unarmed aircraft that can refuel other aircraft mid-air. Each air-refueling unit can support up to 5 air units in a single strike/operation. They give these units unlimited range but the air-refueling unit must be in the air during the entire operation and it is vulnerable to enemy attack. (Cost: 20, is air-refueling unit)
Naval Units:
’Invincible’ Class Carrier: The Invincible Class Carrier is smaller than a super carrier but still a large ship. These ships carry only limited anti-aircraft weapons and depend on their escorts or aircraft to defend them. They can carry 2 units of VTOL Naval Aircraft Units or Naval Helicopter Units (Cost: 38, can carry 2 Naval Helicopter or Naval VTOL Aircraft Units)
‘Ark Royal’ Class Super Carrier: The Ark Royal Class Super Carrier is powered by a nuclear reactor and has only limited anti-aircraft weapons. It can carry 4 Naval Aircraft, Naval VTOL or Naval Helicopter Units. (Cost: 50, can carry 4 Naval Helicopter, Naval VTOL or Naval Aircraft Units)
