i have started to make the German list. I'll post it shortly to show the players what they will use

Ground Units:
Infantry Unit: The basic riflemen of the German Army. These men carry rifles, light-machine guns and grenades. They travel to the battle area on foot or sometimes in trucks. They are the standard unit. (Cost: 4)
Volkstrum Infantry Unit: "People's Army" unit made up of old men and young boys. They carry rifles and the occasional anti-tank rocket. Very weak but cheap. (Cost: 2)
Fallschirmjager Paratrooper Infantry Unit: The FJ are elite paratrooper infantry. They are very well trained and carry advanced infantry weapons. They can be dropped from capable air transports in para assaults. (Cost: 12, is airdroppable)
Brandenburg Commando Unit: The elite Brandenburg commandos can dress in enemy uniforms to deceive their enemies. They have elite training and can carry out commando assaults. (Cost: 15, is a commando unit)
Sdkfz 251 Mechanized Infantry Unit: This is a standard infantry unit but these Panzergrendiers ride into battle in Sdkfz 251 and 250 series half-tracks. They excel at rapid assaults. This unit also contains tank destroyer and assault gun variants of the 250 and 251 half-track series. (Cost: 8)
Waffen-SS Mechanized Infantry Unit: The elite infantry of the German Army. The Waffen-SS prides itself on its racial purity and battlefield excellence. This unit rides to battle in Sdkfz 250/251 half-tracks. (Cost: 10)
Recon Unit: This unit uses 4x4 Sdkfz 222 and 8x8 Sdkfz 232 armored cars to scout ahead. Recon units aide your forces substantially in battles but they lack heavy firepower. (Cost: 6, is a recon unit)
Panzer Recon Unit: This unit uses Puma 8x8 armored cars, recon versions of the Sdkfz 250 and Lynx recon tanks to preform the recon role but with more firepower. This unit is more adapted to support tank units. (Cost: 12, is a recon unit)
Engineer Unit: This unit contains combat engineers, pioneers and the trucks, half-tracks, tractors and construction equipment they use. Engineers are weak in combat but can aide your offensive/defensive units considerably. (Cost: 12, is a engineer unit)
Marder Tank Destroyer Unit: This unit uses the Marder series of tank destroyers (I, II, III) These early tank destroyers have light armor and good guns for destroying enemy tanks at long range. Tank Destroyers are best used at long range since they are weak in close combat. (Cost: 6)
Nashorn Tank Destroyer Unit: This unit is a large but weak vehicle that carries a powerful 88mm cannon. Like all tank destroyers it is weak at close range but strong in long range combat. (Cost: 12)
Hetzer Tank Destroyer Unit: The Hetzer is a small but fast tank destroyer carrying a good 75mm cannon. Like all tank destroyers it is weak at close range but strong in long range combat. (Cost: 8)
Jagdpanther Tank Destroyer Unit: This heavily armored vehicle carries a powerful 88mm cannon and is very powerful. Like all tank destroyers it is weak at close range but strong in long range combat. (Cost: 20)
StuG IIIE Assault Gun Unit: The armored StuG IIIE carries a short barreled 75mm cannon used to destroy enemy bunkers and infantry. Its ineffective against enemy tanks but is good against enemy infantry. Assault guns are best used to support infantry and mechanized infantry. (Cost: 8)
StuG IIIG Assault Gun Unit: The armored StuG IIIG carries a deadly long barreled 75mm cannon used to destroy enemy bunkers and infantry. Assault guns are best used to support infantry and mechanized infantry. This model is also useful against enemy tanks. (Cost: 12)
Panzer IIF Light Tank Unit: The Panzer IIF is a light tank used by the German Army. Its 20mm cannon can damage enemy half-tracks and light tanks but it is weak against medium and heavy tanks. (Cost: 5)
Panzer IIIE Light Tank Unit: The Panzer IIIE is larger than the II and it carries a larger gun. But its amor is still weak. (Cost: 6)
Panzer IIIJ Medium Tank Unit: The Panzer IIIJ carries a larger 50mm cannon and more armor. It is a good early medium tank. (Cost: 8)
Panzer IVE Medium Tank Unit: The Panzer IV is a large tank that carries a short barreled 75mm cannon useful for destroying enemy light tanks and early medium tanks. (Cost: 10)
Panzer IVF2 Medium Tank Unit: The Panzer IV is a large tank that carries a long barreled 75mm cannon useful for destroying enemy light tanks and early medium tanks. The F2 model is a very common German tank. (Cost: 12)
Panzer IVG Medium Tank Unit: The Panzer IV is a large tank that carries a long barreled 75mm cannon useful for destroying enemy light tanks and early medium tanks. The G model is a very common German tank and carries extra side armor. (Cost: 14)
Panther Medium Tank Unit: The revolutionary Panther has good mobility, good armor and a hard hitting long barreled 75mm cannon. It is a very capable medium tank. (Cost: 18)
Tiger Heavy Tank Unit: The fearsome Tiger has immense armor and a powerful 88mm cannon. It is best used to lead heavy armored assaults and to battle enemy heavy tanks. (Cost: 25)
Sdkfz7 SP-AA Unit: This unit uses the Sdkfz7 half-track chassis to mount a single 37mm anti-aircraft cannon. This unit is only effective against enemy air units. This unit is best used to support Panzer units because it is mobile. (Cost: 8)
Wirbelwind SP-AA Unit: This unit uses a tracked tank chassis to mount an armored turret with 4x anti-aircraft cannons. This unit is deadly against enemy aircraft. This tracked vehicle is best used to support Panzer units. (Cost: 12)
Anti-Tank Gun Unit: This unit contains towed 50mm, 75mm and 88mm anti-tank guns. This unit also has trucks and half-tracks to tow these guns. This unit is PURELY defensive, it is very poor at attacking. This unit setups the AT-guns at good locations and can defend a position against enemy tanks very effectively. (Cost: 8)
Wespe SP-Artillery Unit: The Wespe is a tracked vehicle mounting a 75mm artillery gun. Artillery units are only effective at long range bombardments. This unit is mobile enough to assist Panzer units. (Cost: 12)
Nebelwerfer SP-Rocket Artillery Unit: This unit has towed and self-propelled artillery rocket launchers. Artillery units are only effective at long range bombardments. (Cost: 15)
105mm Towed Artillery Unit: This unit has towed 105mm artillery cannons and the trucks and half-tracks to tow them. Artillery units are only effective at long range bombardments (Cost: 5)
150mm Towed Artillery Unit: This unit has towed 150mm artillery cannons and the trucks and half-tracks to tow them. Artillery units are only effective at long range bombardments (Cost: 8)
175mm Towed Artillery Unit: This unit has towed 175mm artillery cannons and the trucks and half-tracks to tow them. Artillery units are only effective at long range bombardments (Cost: 10)
20mm Towed Anti-Aircraft Unit: This unit uses towed 20mm and 37mm AA-guns. It also has the trucks and half-tracks used to tow these guns. This unit is only good against enemy aircraft. (Cost: 6)
88mm Towed Anti-Aircraft Unit: This unit uses towed 88mm AA-guns. It also has the trucks and half-tracks used to tow these guns. This unit is only good against enemy aircraft. (Cost: 8)
Air Units:
Me109F Fighter Unit: The Me109F is a small and agile fighter that can shoot down enemy aircraft. It has short range. (Cost: 8)
Me109G Fighter Unit: The Me109G has a more powerful engine than the F and more cannons. It is used to attack enemy aircraft. (Cost: 10)
Me110 Heavy Fighter/Attack Unit: The Me110 is a two-engine 'destroyer' fighter-bomber. It carries cannon for destroying enemy aircraft and light bombs to attack enemy ground units. But it is slower than most fighters. (Cost: 10)
Fw190A Fighter Unit The fearsome FW190 series start with the capable A model. It has a powerful BMW engine and heavy cannon to destroy enemy fighters. (Cost: 12)
Fw190A-8 Fighter Unit: The A-8 model is a much improved FW190 with a more powerful engine and powerful cannons. It is a very effective fighter. (Cost: 14)
Fw190D-9 Fighter Unit: The D-9 model is the best fighter Germany has to offer. It carries a massive engine and deadly weapons. (Cost: 20)
Ju-87 Stuka Attack Unit: The Ju-87 carries cannon and bombs to attack enemy ground units and facilities. It is deadly against enemy ground units. But is weak in air combat. (Cost: 8)
Ju-88A Bomber Unit: The versatile Ju-88 series started with the A model. This plane carries bombs to attack enemy ground units, cities and facilities. It has weak weapons to battle enemy planes though. (Cost: 10)
Ju-188 Bomber Unit: The 188 is a much improved Ju-88 with more armor, better engines and more weapons. (Cost: 14)
He-111 Bomber Unit: The very common He-111 carries a heavy bomb load but little anti-air defense. It is used to bomb enemy cities and ground units. (Cost: 12)
Ju-88 Anti-Ship Unit: This Ju-88 variant carries torpedos to attack enemy ships. It has weak weapons to battle enemy planes though. (Cost: 12)
Fw-200 Anti-Ship Patrol Unit: This large 4 engine recon bomber carries early RADAR and torpedos to attack enemy ships. It has very long range but is weak against enemy fire. (Cost: 15)
Ju-52 Air Transport Unit: The unarmed Ju-52 is a reliable transport plane. It can carry one of any INFANTRY unit and may drop Fallschirmjager units in para assaults. (Cost: 10, can carry 1 of any infantry units, may drop 1 Fallschirmjager unit in para assault)
Air Recon Unit: This unit uses small unarmed recon planes such as the Fiesler Storch to scout out enemy units. This unit can't attack enemy units but can relay unit positions to friendly units. Recon units assist your units. (Cost: 8, is a recon unit)

Airborne Paratrooper Infantry Unit: The Airborne are elite paratrooper infantry. They are very well trained and carry advanced infantry weapons. They can be dropped from capable air transports in para assaults. (Cost: 10, is airdroppable)
Calvary Unit: Calvary is horse mounted infantry. This unit is the same as the normal Infantry Unit. Calvary is fast moving and good in rough terrain. (Cost: 5)
Naval Infantry Unit: Soviet Naval Infantry are sailor soldiers who excel at amphibious assault landings. They carry good small-arms and are good attackers. (Cost: 10)
Commando Unit: Elite Soviet Commandos who are specially trained Ministry of the Interior (MVD) agents. They have elite training and can carry out commando assaults. (Cost: 15, is a commando unit)

T-34 Medium Tank Unit: The T-34 carries a 76mm cannon and is good against enemy medium tanks. (Cost: 8)
T-34/85 Medium Tank Unit: The T-34/85 carries a 85mm cannon that is good against enemy medium and early heavy tanks. (Cost: 10)
KV-1 Heavy Tank Unit: The KV-1 is a heavily armored and slow tank that mounts a mediocre 76mm cannon. It is good against enemy medium and early heavy tanks. (Cost: 12)
IKV-85 Heavy Tank Unit: The KV-85 is a KV-1 with more amour and a more powerful 85mm cannon. It is good against enemy medium and heavy tanks. (Cost: 14)
IS-2 Heavy Tank Unit: The IS-2 is a heavily armored monster with a 122mm cannon. It is good against enemy heavy tanks. (Cost: 18)
Maxim SP-AA Unit: A 4x4 Zil truck mounting a quadruple Maxim anti-aircraft machine gun mounting. Very weak but useful against enemy aircraft. (Cost: 5)
Anti-Tank Gun Unit: This unit contains towed 37mm and 57mm anti-tank guns. This unit also has trucks and half-tracks to tow these guns. This unit is PURELY defensive, it is very poor at attacking. Katyusha SP-Rocket Artillery Unit: This unit has towed and self-propelled artillery rocket launchers. Artillery units are only effective at long range bombardments. This is the famous and deadly Russian Katyusha. (Cost: 12)
105mm Towed Artillery Unit: This unit has towed 105mm artillery cannons and the trucks and half-tracks to tow them. Artillery units are only effective at long range bombardments (Cost: 5)

Air Units:
Mig-3U Fighter Unit: The Mig-3U is a light and cheap wooden fighter that is good against enemy early fighters. It is weak but fast. (Cost: 6)
Yak-3 Fighter Unit: The Yak-3 is the first in the famous Yak series. It has good cannons and is pretty agile. Fighters can only attack enemy fighters. (Cost: 8)
Yak-7 Fighter Unit: The Yak-7 is the second in the famous Yak series. It has good cannons and is pretty agile. It is better than the Yak-3 Fighters can only attack enemy fighters. (Cost: 10)
Yak-9 Fighter Unit: The Yak-9 is the final Yak fighter. It has exceptional agility and powerful cannons. (Cost: 12)
La-7 Fighter Unit: The La-7 is an extremely agile fighter with weak weapons. It is one of the most agile fighters used during the war and is a match for most if not all of the enemy planes. (Cost: 16)
Il-2 'Sturmovik' Attack Unit: The famous Il-2 is a deadly beast when used against enemy ground units. It has bombs, cannons and rockets and is very good against enemy ground units. But is weak against enemy air units. (Cost: 8)
Il-4 Bomber/Anti-Ship Unit: The Il-4 carries a good bomb load over a long distance. It has weak weapons against enemy air units. It can bomb enemy ground units and facilities. It can also launch torpedos at enemy ships. (Cost: 10)
Tu-2 Bomber Unit: The Tu-2 carries a good bomb load and can attack enemy ground units and facilities. It has light defensive weapons. (Cost: 12)
Pe-2 Attack Unit: The Pe-2 is an agile, almost fighter like light bomber that is good against enemy ground units. Its agility also enables it to escape from enemy fighters most of the time. (Cost: 15)

Type 95 Ha-Go Light Tank Unit: The small Ho-Go carries a weak 37mm cannon. It is best used against enemy light vehicles. (Cost: 6)

Lol, he hasn't even finished the major/playable country unit lists. I don't think Brazil would be playable, but if you check on "The Game is now over" thread, you will see some countries that unit lists will be made for. Now I'm hoping the French unit list will be done soon. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Yeah, i saw that list of nations. But it lacks nations that were atleast somewhat important. Sweden, Spain and Australia. Maybe even some more. Other then the small list of availible countries, it looks like it could be an excellent game though.

Well, it is more a problem of creating unit lists. Botto is creating unit lists for countries he can find enough units for. If you or him could find World War II units for those nations, I'm sure you could play them.

Just wanted to correct a few things:
The 88 AA gun germany had was designed as a AA gun but discovered to be one of the best anti tank gun in WW2 and at the same time artillery!
Volkssturm is spelled like that
You should probably include a SS panzer regiment as an option, they used tigers and panters mostly backed up by infantry in half-bandwaggons(250/51). They were the best equipped troops in germany. Perhaps an engineering unit to build costal defenses?
