just to say that i might be able to buy AOC for my cpu(mac) so hopefully i can get it...but maybe not for a while!
so sometime in the future i hope to be online with AOC

DM lol u guys dont know who i am do u? Ask any Old school players here like DJ theres nobody from England better then me, I was in all the Best clan including Number 1 clans MaJoR and IYIiK my Rates where from 1900 - 2100.

What is AoC coming to u dont even know the legends anymore

I was also a top 10 RMer in the AoE/RoR/AoK days i quit playing at the end of AoK start of AoC i was the Famous DevilZ_MoJo / RoW_ReDKinG / NoX_ReD in those days.

Im not trying the undermind u here but im proud of the things i achieved in the Age Series i had some good friends and some good laughs things will never be the same again in that game its died a horrable death now.

just because the top legends have moved on, doesn't mean the game is dead. besides it still outstripes aom, in terms on people playing it online.
its still good for laugh now and then.

Atlast we agree on something AoM sucks, as for AoC the whole scene has changed people dont have as much fun as we did back then. Thats the way it looks to me when i log on for the odd game here and there anyway.

hmm, I havent never followed RM "top" players with interest, and DM players even less. They just play more "professional" than I do. and DM is really distanced issue to me, i havent never really got hang to it. But its great to meet someone who were such high rated What u think u still could match up "this day" DM experts?

Well without even using hotkeys and no pratice i got a 1890 rate after 14 games the other day so the yes im pretty sure of it [Smile] , People forget that it was the Old school players that made all the stats that are used today.

My highest rating in AoC has been 1730... I've played mostly with my Age of Kings Competition Club/Good Game Club/#age-of-gamers friends, friendly games.
I haven't followed the top players too much, but I know quite a lot of high rated people.

I was just thinking those thoughts to myself redking...

I remember the very last days of the old school. Times were still fun...there were just fewer of us around. There was a certain magical quality about playing people like heavyboy, chimo, lance, elof, arabia (hah I miss him [Smile] ). The games were intense, hard core, fought down to the last man...but they were FUN.

Now, the games to me seem boring..it is as if the entire spirit has left the game. And this new school of 'experts' is nothing but parasites...hell, I played Hun Wars the other day against a 1900 player who used my very own strat from a year ago [Roll Eyes]

I have played this game AoK/AoC almost 3 years now. And I havent seen any difference back then to now. But thats perhaps because im not "orginal" player [Razz] heheh. One thing I agree is that players has become more serious. But back then there wasnt that many players online, cause internet connection wasnt that common thing as nowdays. So there is many kind of persons online these days. And when im playing with ppl i know, i must say that those games are pure fun. Im sure its same kind of athmosphere as dejango was talking about before. And one thing I have noticed if todays players are serious...theres even more rude ppl as well.
