here is a good topic, what do you think was the best infantry weapon (rifle)
here are my choices:
World War 2: M1 Garand Rifle: it was the best semi-automatic rifle used during the war, so good that Japanese and German troops would drop their standard issued weapons and pick up M1s whenever they could Cold War Era: AK-47: It was the more reliable and cheapest weapon. Most produced weapon in history. Period. Modern Era: M16: It has a bewildering amount of after-market parts and upgrades for it and its highly reliable in its latest form and its very light and easy to shoot.

Well i must say no matter what war its gotta be a Sniper Rifle, i know theres tons of em but hell when one guy can pin down 20 guys due to a fear that if one guy pops their head up theres a small piece of lead travelling straight through their skull/brain/back of skull lol....
