Since we are likely to have about 12 nominations, with small votes all spread around, why dont we have another poll when the nomination thread gets closed... to chose some 4/6 ppl from the nominations to vote for the election. For example... the nominators were:

Then, the last poll decides the real moderator..

I think that this is a great idea myself, it keeps the polls from being "spread" and having 3 votes for him 4 votes for him, 3 votes for him 3 cotes for him, and 5 for him 4 for him 2 for him 3 for him and 6 for him, ah he won. 
Something like the KING BURITO VS STONER vote, 14 for him, 8 for him. It gets us the right choice, and hopfully, prevents scandalism.
