HELLO HELLO

Cost of Spying Operations:

To start an ‘operation’ you need at least one spy ‘operative’ (the more ‘operatives’ you have working on a operation, the better its chances of succeeding area)

Cost to recruit and train a Operative/Agent: 50 credits

Once you have an operative trained you can send him on ‘operations’ in any country. With each successful ‘operation’ you have completed the involved ‘operatives’ get plus +1 ‘experience point’ so its VERY IMPORTANT you keep track of your operatives, their operations and ‘experience points’ (more experience = better agent)

Operations:

Assassination: The most difficult job… An agent with at least 1 experience point (1 successfully completed operation) may attempt to kill a high ranking Soviet or non-player official… This is expensive but could be very worthwhile… (Cost: 100 credits, agent must have at least +1 experience point)

Overthrow Government of a Non-Player Nation: This operation is expensive because you need to secretly send weapons and your agent to the non-player nation you would like to over-throw the government of. This is good if you want to get nations to your government type and they will ally with you. (Cost: 75 credits)

Send Aide to Forces Fighting A Nation: This operation is when you send weapons and money to help forces who are battling your enemy. The enemy forces hopefully will never find out that they were fighting forces you were supplying. (Cost: 65)

Steal Secrets From Other Nation: This operation is a normal ‘spy job’ each operation can get you intelligence on 1 enemy missile sub, missile launch facility or other facility. If the operation is successful, the mod will give you the location and current status of 1 enemy secret facility. (Cost: 60)

Counter-Intelligence: You can have one of your senior agents be stationed in your own nation to try and find 1 enemy spy/agent/operative. For an operative/agent to do counter-intelligence he must have at least +1 experience point. If the operation is successful you can capture an enemy spy (if there is one working in your nation) then you may decide to publicly put him on trial, imprison him (and later try to trade him for one of your spies if they are caught) or simply shoot him. (Cost: 80 credits, agent must have at least +1 experience point)

Sabotage Ship: An agent may attempt to board an enemy ship and use mines and explosives to sink it. (Cost: 60 credits)

Steal Documents: Agents may attempt to steal enemy documents (posts in the enemy private forum) so they can be analyzed for intelligence. Documents may also include ‘black budget’ purchases, spying reports, branch budget info etc.. (Cost: 80)

Spy Planes:
Once you have spy plane units built you can assign each unit a specific job (example: ‘Search USSR for missile silo locations’ or ‘Search USA for research facility locations’) The planes will then do the missions. Be warned though, SAM missile batteries may shoot them down…. If the missions are successful the mod will report a ‘recon report’ with some info on the targeted locations.

Chrisbraund2000: now he's got so many nukes
Chrisbraund2000: they're all arguing over who owns those units!
Chrisbraund2000: or at least he's got a nuke I think, and he's gonna get a load more, no one seems to know anything!
Fighter864: the Premier or whatever makes that choice
Chrisbraund2000: this is madness, they can't run a nation like this...
Fighter864: lol
Fighter864: our nation is going very smoothly
Fighter864: of course everyone wants more money, but the President makes that final choice
Chrisbraund2000: lol I bet at 10 credits a turn you're telling the moron to give you more
Chrisbraund2000: I know I am, 5 is nowhere near enough!

Chrisbraund2000: that's the damned problem
Chrisbraund2000: Roddy is using the KGB to control the Ministers
Chrisbraund2000: to stop their squabbling, and to stop any treason
Fighter864: KGB has enough funding to do that?
Chrisbraund2000: but he doesn't fund me!
Chrisbraund2000: no, it's an illusion of power that the KGB is some all-knowing organisation lol
Chrisbraund2000: I have no way of stopping his ministers squabbling lol, except slapping the morons
Fighter864: all i do is sit there and look pretty
Chrisbraund2000: lol, now they're trying to tell kenny he can't just nuke everything
Chrisbraund2000: he wants us to nuke you guys straight away
Fighter864: is it Primier or spelled another way?
Chrisbraund2000: and use the KGB to take out your nukes
Chrisbraund2000: Premier
Chrisbraund2000: but I haven't the funding to take out a fucking fly lol
Fighter864: lol... KGB going to take out our nukes with what?
Chrisbraund2000: ShammyHBK: but, no nukes get launched or made without my permission

ShammyHBK: look, to clear up the navy thing
Jj872000: they on the ocean they're mine
ShammyHBK: if it SHOOTS nukes, it's mine
ShammyHBK: if it's nuke POWERED, it's yours
Fighter864: lmao
Fighter864: i'd love to see the fighting

Jj872000: nuke submarines get first priority next turn!
Chrisbraund2000: lol they're still killing each other over the money

Chrisbraund2000: no, just he's an annoying prick lol
Chrisbraund2000: ShammyHBK: ...that's a nuke capable carrier
ShammyHBK: you need my permission to bulid it
Chrisbraund2000: jesus, all that over Jason's suggestion to research a nuclear POWERED carrier!
Chrisbraund2000: lol Kenny's going mad over this:
Chrisbraund2000: greendayANDham69: I KINDA WANNA SIGN A PACT WITH AMERICA THAT LIMITS NUKES
Fighter864: that doesn't sound like a horrible idea
Fighter864: at least one of you guys is thinking about peace
Chrisbraund2000: trouble is, it's yet another thing that puts me on the opposite side to Roddy lol - he is with kenny
Chrisbraund2000: lol me and Anarchy are
Fighter864: i thought you were supposed to be Premier
Chrisbraund2000: Jason is undecided, Roddy is for nukes, kenny is for nukes, Demetrias is for army invasion lol
Chrisbraund2000: I'm KGB
Chrisbraund2000: Roddy is Premier
Chrisbraund2000: Chrisbraund2000: I want more than 5 credits a turn, how the fuck am I supposed to keep tabs on America?! And you expect me to be able to help you take out their nukes?!
RoddyVR: we dont need you to take out thier nukes, we can do that with ours. what we need is for you to do is to stop them finding out where our nukes are
Fighter864: lol
Fighter864: you can't even do that
Chrisbraund2000: I know lol, it'll take till Turn 10 to be able to afford a spy, and another 16(IIRC) to be able to afford to do anti-spy!
Chrisbraund2000: wait, anti spy requires experience
Chrisbraund2000: so that's at least another 12 turns!
Chrisbraund2000: ShammyHBK: military?
ShammyHBK: useless
greendayANDham69: ha
ShammyHBK: we need long distance forces
greendayANDham69: what do we do to an army that invades us?
Chrisbraund2000: I hope you've got a good navy lol
Fighter864: damned if i know... we just started lol
Chrisbraund2000: lol, kenny seems to be planning loads of nuke subs
Chrisbraund2000: but no escorts, the stupid bastard
Chrisbraund2000: I mean, doesn't the stupid little prick realise that a missile sub is an easy target?! He seems to think we can walk into Washington! Not without KGB help, grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chrisbraund2000: RoddyVR: UK, since you cant do shit with the 5 credits anyway, i'm confiscating it to build an inf. you'll get it back by whatever turn you'd be able to build the spy so it dont realy change anything for you
Fighter864: it's going to be a long time before anyone attacks anyone
Fighter864: LMFAO
Chrisbraund2000: lol what bastards
Chrisbraund2000: they're now taking my 5 credits!
Fighter864: got to have those inf. though
Chrisbraund2000: Chrisbraund2000: FUCK YOU GUYS IF YOU THINK I'M SETTLING FOR NO CREDITS!
Chrisbraund2000: I WANT MY FUCKING 5 CREDITS BACK AT LEAST, OR I'LL FUCKING TELL AMERICA WHERE EACH AND EVERYONE ONE OF YOUR PRECIOUS LITTLE NUKES ARE!
RoddyVR: you'll get them another turn, not now. and if you tell, we'll know
Chrisbraund2000: how would they know?!
Fighter864: i don't know
Fighter864: any one of them could tell
Chrisbraund2000: but surely none of yours would tell them over something like that?!
Chrisbraund2000: that's mad!
Fighter864: i hope not anyway
Chrisbraund2000: lol, they won a small battle against Kenny
Chrisbraund2000: our budget is now going to be one fighter(14), 3 tanks(30), and 1 infantry(5). And black ops gets 51 credits lol - 50 credits for fucking nukes, 1 credit for me, the annoying little shits
Fighter864: maybe by turn 50 you can get an angent
Chrisbraund2000: lol
Chrisbraund2000: and by turn 170 or 180
Chrisbraund2000: I may actually be able to do anti-spy missions(don't forget they have to do another mission first lol)
Chrisbraund2000: MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!!!
Chrisbraund2000: RoddyVR: ’November’ Class Nuclear Powered Attack Submarine: The ‘November’ is a fast attack sub with deep diving capability and good anti-ship and anti-sub torpedoes. (Cost: 51)
RoddyVR: We're buying that, so sorry Nem we need your credit
Chrisbraund2000: lol
Fighter864: :-P
Chrisbraund2000: RoddyVR: nm, i thougt is was nuclear for some reason
Chrisbraund2000: so they won't get it thank god lol
Chrisbraund2000: great, they're going for a silo instead
Chrisbraund2000: 50 fucking credits! I could have had a spy for that!
Chrisbraund2000: instead I get one credit the bitches

Chrisbraund2000: lol it doesn't seem like it
Chrisbraund2000: they're planning nukes all over the place
Chrisbraund2000: and then while you guys can't stop us cause of our nukes
Chrisbraund2000: we invade everyone
Chrisbraund2000: either that or take you guys out early lol, but I think I've managed to defeat that idea
Fighter864: take us out early and the game is done
Chrisbraund2000: I know lol
Chrisbraund2000: that's why I defeated it
Chrisbraund2000: but I've got this feeling I'm not going to be doing much anyway lol
Chrisbraund2000: just cause I don't think we should rush on into a nuclear war
Chrisbraund2000: RoddyVR: ’SS-8 ‘Sasin’’ ICBM Launch Facility: This facility is a group of 8 ‘SS-8 ‘Sasin’’ missile silos and a command bunker. The SS-8 is a small medium-range

Chrisbraund2000: shit, that's the fucking bunker they're buying
Chrisbraund2000: they're not even long range for fuck's sake!
Fighter864: lol... they'll sink in the ocean
Chrisbraund2000: lol, not if it's in Siberia thinking about it
Chrisbraund2000: and I think they're trying to get it as close to America as possible
Fighter864: oh wow... nuke alaska lol
Chrisbraund2000: I've got it
Chrisbraund2000: lol
Chrisbraund2000: maybe an AEGIS
Chrisbraund2000: close to their bunker could shoot it down
Chrisbraund2000: if the launch
Chrisbraund2000: they*
Chrisbraund2000: but you'd need AEGIS and good protection lol
Chrisbraund2000: damn
Chrisbraund2000: he's posted this turn, so I can't argue for more funding :-(
Fighter864: maybe next time
Chrisbraund2000: RoddyVR has left the room.

I'll try and make some sense of it tomorrow.

From the way it sounds, it looks like they are trying to throw us off track.

You can't have a missle yet. Cost far to much now.

I suggest we take it seriously though.

HELLO HELLO

This information helps me because now most likely I'm going to spy on their nukes. I have to guess at what I want to spy on. If I spy on new units they may have resreached, but they didn't research any, then I'm screwed out of credits trying to find that information out.

I'll have a little more faith if I see that Russia buys all those units in the 'White Purchases' for Day 1.

On the matter of secrecy how sure can we be that this thread is un-hackable?
Even if you dont know the password it shows that you are part of the thread.
I suggest we change the password every week or so just to be sure.

For secrecy over nuclear capability, unless we want to show force I will not post much in here. I will post the purchase of plane dropped nuclear weapons etc, but not the position of nuclear missile silos. All information regarding the position and nuclear black budget will be emailed to the President and the Director of the CIA, any other departments can request information if they so need it.
I suggest we operate in such a MO in other areas. This forum although password protected is by no means secure.

We should also look into disinformation, just to keep them guessing, not a massive blatant lie, but a little information every now and again that may alter thier spending budget etc.

HELLO HELLO

Locations on nuclear weapons have to be made known to the moderator (Gbotto) in some way shape or form, just incase we are spied on ect. Maybe we can keep the location secret, and he can just ask us for the locations? Or if someone spies on us, we're prb not supposed to know about it?

’SS-8 ‘Sasin’’ ICBM Launch Facility: This facility is a group of 8 ‘SS-8 ‘Sasin’’ missile silos and a command bunker. The SS-8 is a small medium-range, medium-power ICBM. (Cost: 50, can launch 8 ‘SS-8 ‘Sasin’ medium range, medium power, nuclear missiles)

This is what the Reds bought.

UKNemesis is *MAYBE* working with us. He dosen't like the funding he has, so he has leaked us some info.

He told me what type of missle silo it is. And he said the location of it could be either Cuba or Siberia. These are Medium-range Nukes, so we could talk about the entire western seaboard being gone, or the entire Gulf of Mexico region. LA, Sacremento, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, Seattle, San Diego, etc.

We have to find this nuke at all costs.

He dosen't want credits becuase Roddy would know, but he said anything that will hurt kenny he is all for.

kenny also seems to want to have a lot of submarines. With nuclear capabilities.

But Jason the King will not escort his sub. Anything else he will, but not kenny's. kenny will have to buy his own.

I'm not sure if this is concrete, but it does give us a good idea about what they are doing.

UKNemesis might be our friend, but he says that until he gets better funding, that he's with us.

Medium power, and meduim range. At least they are not high power nukes. What is the difference in the amount of damage that a high power and medium power does, and how far can a medium power nuke go? Would our nuclear scientist know?

It would be a lie. I suggest spying be done to prove this is the case! Since they gave us an location, I can use a cheaper operation to just look for a facility, instead of trying to get the entire budget.

HELLO HELLO

Give the CIA top funding and I'll send an agent to this place in Russia, and see if there is really a nuclear place there. If there is one, then we'll know if they are telling the truth.

Can we give credits? If so:

US Army surrenders it's funding to the CIA for this turn.

before sending an agent into Russia and risking loosing him, it would be a good idea for us to do smaller missions with the agent so he can have experience points

HELLO HELLO

On the very first topic of this page I always edit it to include what the CIA buys each Day. Now, being that I'm in charge of getting us intelligence and stuff, I added some more information which may prove useful.

The first post of this topic now includes a copy of the Soviet Budget. It also includes information on what the Red Army, Red Air Force, Red Navy, KGB, and Red Nuclear Scientists may have according to what CIA resources have found out.

Later I may include more stuff, so always keep checking in here. That stuff about the military is especially important. You guys can buy counter weapons to what the have if you know what they get. And you can see how their military is doing compared to our own. Always keeping check this topic.

HELLO HELLO

This topic now includes the American budget, along with ALL of our units for each of our branches. I also took the time to add up all of our spending, and all of the USSR spending. So you can see that the USSR Army spending total is compared to the USA Army spending.

Hopefully this information will be useful to everyone.

P.S. I included the Long Boat for the USA Navy even though the President didn't officially purchase it.

If our spy plane finds that missile silo in Russia, we should think about destroying it lol. We got naval and air superiority. Go in with some planes, bomb it, and then escape. It's a bold plan, but it sure would get the Soviets squirming lol.
