I think the current base rules are a little lacking, supporting only 2 units seems a small in comparison to the amount of units that would be stored.
Army:
Instead 2 units @ 8 creds
Go to 6 units @ 12 creds
Navy:
Instead of 4 units @12 creds
Go to 8 units @ 16 creds
Air:
Instead of 2 units @ 10 creds
Go to 4 units @ 14 creds.
Then expansions of each base by their coresponding unit sizes at the current 10 creds, this will certainly encourage me and others to actually think about spending money on building bases for strategic needs.
