I was flipping through the TV just now and i saw a rap video where the two "rappers" (Romeo and Baby or whatever the fat one is called) were driving around in a Maserati
What an insult to the Maserati family

i mean outdated in the fact that tank warfare is useless, with anti tank aircraft able to take them out easily, they are slow, only carry a few ppl and are basically bullet and missile magnets? the last place you'd want to be in a war!

2 thast why modern planes have decoy flares wich stop those getting them the majority of the time, it doesn't always work tho! there is no perfect type of warfare else teh world would be conquered by whoever possesed it! there are just some better than others

Well you’re wrong, yet again, I always reply, in full, because I do have a reply. This is more proof of you posting and not thinking about what you are posting and then being too proud and stupid to retract, say that you are wrong and maintain at least a little respect and dignity. But yet again your ignorance prevails
You have confused the modern role of the tank with that of the Second World War, the battle field is a much different place, it is so more complex and dynamic. Most people with an ounce of common sense would see that tanks have not lost their place on the battle field. The people who planned the recent gulf war would disagree with you completely, the tank played, as it always has, a major role in almost all land battles.
It only seems that way because of the way modern force is applied these days, in the case of Iraq it is portrayed by the media in the western propaganda (come on you should see this, you anarchist you) that all of these tanks are taken out from far, far up in the air, or by rows of Apaches decimating columns of tanks.
Now I’m not saying this doesn’t happen, but the targets are not always hit, not to mention the amount of recognition that goes first into identifying a target. Even then once strikes have been taken on armoured columns, some are fixed (owing to parts availability) and some just make it through to actually do a land battle.
When they did actually get through they were completely wasted by the American and British tanks. But all this is owing to the fact that we had air superiority, were this not the case and a force was even only armed with a decent amount of shoulder launched missile systems, the balance would be changed and then the needed reliance upon the tank would be brought to the fore again.
That is only a very simple answer why Tanks are far from useless, I’m sure botto and others could give you even more reasons why tanks are constantly updated, improved and employed in modern armed forces.
So consider yourself proven wrong, again.

i hate that game! exactly 2-d there is no perfect warfare, except patriots would only work before the planes carpet bombed the area, satelites are teh most dangerous things, the amount of detail you can get from them is incredible! and this isn't from computer games this is the images the raf intelligence corp get! wich none of you will ever see! very cool stuff!
and the patriot will be useless soon as planes can easily exceed mach 3, soon they'll have heat sinks all over them so heat detecting wont work and anti radar cladding is readily available!

i hate that game! exactly 2-d there is no perfect warfare, except patriots would only work before the planes carpet bombed the area, satelites are teh most dangerous things, the amount of detail you can get from them is incredible! and this isn't from computer games this is the images the raf intelligence corp get! wich none of you will ever see! very cool stuff!
and the patriot will be useless soon as planes can easily exceed mach 3, soon they'll have heat sinks all over them so heat detecting wont work and anti radar cladding is readily available!
What use are planes destroyed on the ground by an SAS raid? eh? eh? eh?
And in a given situation i think the patriots would be deployed before the planes atacked they are normally more effective that way....

you seem to be much more fluent in that game than me, i only played civ2!
sas raids dont really work around hq's! given sas patrols are 20 men max!
and mason if we werent around you'd have no jets, tanks or ships! we invented them all, by inventing ships i mean ironclads and cruisers!
